Mining's 283, need to lvl. Any suggestions?

I'm need to level my mining to 300 for outlands, but my mining has lagged behind and I'm looking for suggestions from some other miners out there that may be able to point me in the right direction for those last 17 mining point to get to Outlands mining. Thanks!

I basically had to farm for thorium veins around Un'Goro, Winterspring, and around the BRD area. It took awhile but had to be done. I did wait until level 60 so I could buy the epic mount before I went farming and it really helped speed things up.

Laps of winterspring are very good for Thorium, as is a trip to the east plaguelands
also enchant some gloves with +5mining if you've not already, thats 5 less nodes you need to find before you can mine fel iron.

Winterspring is a good place, but kinda out of the way, especially if you are not interested in reputation with the Timbermaw Furbolgs. Un'goro crater is decent too, just watch out for the elite dino's wandering around. One of my favorites for the last 20 points or so before 300 mining is in the Eastern Plaguelands. You can wander around and kill undead to get reputation with argent dawn while mining. I have found that Argent Dawn is still useful until revered (especially if you have a craft; i.e. leatherworking, blacksmithing, tailoring).

I always use mapwow.com to answer these types of questions. Select the herbs/ores you need to gather, and it shows you where they are. Uses the google maps API, so its easy to drag/zoom around. Covers Outland too.
