Alch/Herb Raid Pots/Elixirs

Going to Kara next week and I'm at 300alch/313herb. If I actually grind it, I know I can easily hit 350/350 by that time. I was wanting advice on what types of pots/elixirs/etc I should learn to bring for the raid. I figure I know what I need and that Heal/Mana Pots are needed, but what other things might be useful for the following group:

1 Resto Shammy- healer
2 Priest- Healer
3 Druid- Off healer DPS
4 Prot Pally- Tank
5 Warrior - Main Tank
6 Hunter - CC
7 Hunter - DPS
8 Warlock - DPS
9 Enh Shammy - DPS buffs
10 Mage - DPS CC

I'd suggest looking up this question on those specific class forums. There's a library post on this forum talking about what to take on a raid if your a Warlock.

Perhaps also asking your guild what they'd like you to bring? Quickest and easiest way to get your answers...

well thought people might have alt's and suggest some stuff they use. I posted on my guild forum but they're the type of guys to ask for stuff 10 minutes before the instance. So I'm just trying to be prepared.

I did get one request for mageblood elixir but the drop for that seems über-low.

Well, if they ask for stuff 10 minutes before an instance and they can't be bothered to look after themselves, then tough titties for them. If they want to take you up on the offers to supply them with pots, then they need to at least come part way to the party and reply to the thread on your guild forum about what they need.

Or, next raid ask if anyone wants any pots. Then when they whisper you, ask them the name of the pot they want, inform them that you don't have any of that at this time and write it down. Then you can create a list of be ready for the next run.

If you really want to do all the work yourself, then as suggested above, go to all the class forums and look around for a list they have similar to the one we have here and stock up on those. You'll get a lot more detailed answers that way.

As a Hunter, I look for anything that buffs Agility and Crit, but then I don't raid...

is your group on the whole new to kara? if so I suggest you use flasks since it persist thru death...

that said if your fellow raid members can't be bothered to get mats for pots them self i question their raiding commitment...

wowhead the following...

in general...

- healers will want mp5 and +healing...
- tanks will want anything that adds HP or armor ( altho off the top of my head they have to chain chug this since it's a potion and not an elix )
- caster dps will go with either adept elix or the elix of Y school ( fire mages = school of fire, shadow locks = shadow, frost = frost etc )
- physical dps will be generally go for agi since I can't remember off the top of my head if there's a +atk power elix ( there's one for Flask i know )

I personally use flasks... even on my newb shammy healer running kara
