Re: frostweave cloth farming spots

Went there today, but without much luck. The repop time seems to have increased drastically, and the droprate seemed fairly low. I guess I will try some of the other spots posted here

Re: frostweave cloth farming spots
Okay, I figure I can help some people out with this, if this is still a worry for some folks. It doesn't look like this has been posted yet, but I could be wrong. Anyway, here goes... ![]() Shown above is a Red X indicating the most perfectly awesome spot in Icecrown. The mob types are humanoids, so Cloth Savaging is a huge plus. They are ALL YELLOW, so no worries about aggroing to many as a lower level. They are all level 80 mobs, around 12-12.6k hp. Basically it works like this. The mobs run from north of the red x to south of the red x (AKA: AT YOU) )South of the Red X, these mobs get turned into Red Aggroing mobs by some bad guys. If you position yourself right before they hit the spot where they dissapear to get turned, you will have upwards of 5-6 mobs at a time running straight at you, all yellow. There are 2-3 videos on this already and it truly is perfect. As a warlock, I sit there with void out, and pull as many as possible. If HP gets low, I sacrifice. Easy enough that a Corr/Curse of Agony kills everything. Happy Hunting!!! |
