I'm finally making gold

So I'm tailor/enchant, both over 400, and I've never really made a good amount of gold off of them, except for the ability to D/E and sell the mats at AH.

But fishing/cooking is now netting me an easy 150-200g each day, for only about 45 minutes worth of work. The easiest and quickest way to do it is to buy the recipe for Firecracker Salmon in Dalaran (the salmon gives you +46 spellpower and +40 stamina for an hour). Do the cooking daily quests every day, and buy Northern Spices with them. Head to grizzly hills, and fish up and down the river for Glacial Salmon. In about 20 minutes, you can EASILY fish up a full stack.

Head back to a main city, cook up the Firecracker Salmon, and sell 'em off. They are bought so damn quickly that you can pretty much put 'em up at any price. I'm selling 10 for 90g, and individual ones for 10g. I've never had any be returned to me in the mail.

The other big seller is Snapper Extreme, also bought in Dalaran, also needs Northern Spices. It increases your hit rating and stamina by 40. The materials are more intensive, though. You will need to head to the lake in the middle of Borean Tundra and fish in the open water. 3 Bonescale Snappers (and one Northern Spice) is required to cook up one Snapper Extreme.

The good news about fishing in BT though for the bonescale is that you also pick up Pygmy Suckerfish, which sell pretty easily at the AH for about 4g each. So thats the upside, I personally think that the easier and more efficient method is with the Firecracker Salmon.

Of course, this will all depend on who is playing on your server. Give it a try, considering how fast this stuff goes (and how difficult it is to get a lot of Northern Spices for cheap without doing dailies) you shouldn't have a problem of being constantly undercut at the AH.

I've been a JC ever since BC came out. Runed Scarlet Rubies are netting me 50g profit just from buying the mats on the AH and then putting them back on. Potent Monarch Topazes are doing the same. Chaotic Skyflare Diamonds are netting me between 50g and 100g.

Re: I'm finally making gold

My tailoring isn't high enough for the Frostweave bags yet, but today I bought an Eternal Life, 5 Iceweb silks, and 15 eternium thread for about 85g all together, made 5 Shining Spellthread which sell for 50g each.

So its an easy 150gish profit for barely any work

Re: I'm finally making gold

i'm tailor/enchanter as well and basically gave up on learning new enchanting recipes (found it much easier to just to farm for mats, de, and get someone else to do it.... sell surplus mats).

however, when it came to leveling my tailoring i was able to go from like 420-440 in a matter of hours without spending a dime or doing much work (or whenever you first learn frostweave bags)

basically, as soon as i could make a frostweave bag i had already accumulated quite a number of stacks of infinite dust from questing. like.... a whole bag full. so, i calculated the mats it would take to make a frostweave bag (90 cloth + the infinite dust + 5g for thread). then i started spamming in chat that i would make frostweave bags for 90 cloth & 5g....... considerably less than the 150g they were going for in AH. i was basically spammed with offers. i had one guy take me up the last 10 levels just so he could resell the bags and make cash. i figured i would be using the infinite dust on leveling my tailoring anyway, so there was no need to charge for anything but the thread.

anyway... took no time at all and i highly recommend it while people still need those big *** bags.
