Re: Why does tailoring suck so bad?
I make and sell the Hat of Wintry Doom. Things have slowed down but I still sell @ least 4 a week. I make other things too. But the hat is my money maker. I had listed it up to 300g but had trouble selling it them had another person undercut me so bad relisted @ a lower price. I am going to begin to list the various "threads" to see how they sell. I am tired or not having epic flying

Re: Why does tailoring suck so bad?
One of my main tailoring moneymakers oddly enough is netherweave bags! These sell very easily as people levelling alts buy these fairly-large-but-very cheap bags. Buy the cloth at up to 4g a stack, sell the bags at 9-15g each. Takes time, but I set my char to making bags and go do something else. Now frostweave is dropping in price the frostweave bags can potentially make more profit per bag but still tend to be stupidly undercut fairly regularly by people levelling. The spellthreads are good, but there tends to be a lot of competition for them on my server so the margin can be low and the volumes sold are low too. I clear more actual cash from the netherweave bags than from any of the other tailoring items. The back enchant is very, very nice though.
