Re: Which other profession for raiding?
For the whole "Keep what you kill" mentality and the Master of Anatomy Master of Anatomy - Spell - World of Warcraft I picked up skinning as my "gathering" profession. |

Re: Which other profession for raiding?
I have Herb and alch as mine.. which is useful since I make all the flasks for the raids. We have others that have cooking for the fish feasts and we simply use a Mammoth for repairs so no need to go into engineering for repair bots. |

Re: Which other profession for raiding?
Would the proc on the cloak enchant now that its being upgraded be worth level gaining tailoring? That and the money you make from making ebonweave and the money you save on make leg enchants? Atm im looking at jewelcrafting as the number 1 profession, and either tailoring for the cloak enchant or enchanting for the ring enchants, after 3.2 the enchants are going to be up to par with what you could put on a gem from the 2 extra gem slots from BSing... |

Re: Which other profession for raiding?
Tailoring is supposed to give WAY more of a DPS increase than the other professions atm; that's what I'd do.

Re: Which other profession for raiding?
My lock is BS for the gem slots, enchanting for the ring enchants. My alt is JC to make my gems and mining as a gatherer. Mining feeds JC/BC and enchanting. So I have 76 extra spell power and plenty of gold =) |

Re: Which other profession for raiding?
I went with Herb/Inscription. The Lifeblood from Herbalism is part of my lifetap rotation if I need more than one tap. ie.. life tap, lifeblood, life tap, life tap. Also not only can I make my own glyphs, and sell them for a nice profit, we do get a nice should inscriptions at the higher levels as well as the ability to make our scrolls to buff our stamina, strength, agility, and intellect. Also if you make scroll of recalls, it is like having 2 hearthstones. |

Re: Which other profession for raiding?
Engineering might be the weakest crafting prof for the user-exclusive bonuses now, but that can change with patch 3.2, so I would suggest checking patch notes before dropping your engineering for another crafting profession, if you have not done this already. Skinning is very easy to level, and this prof will receive another bonus to critrating in 3.2, and ring enchants will get a slight upgrade too :-) Tailoring/enchanting complement each other well, and I can attest that as much as I dislike proccing effects, lightweave procs alot, but I think Blacksmithing/JC is probably the best combination of crafting profs for dps in raids, ymmv. |

Re: Which other profession for raiding?
They're buffing every proffession enchant on the patch except for BS because of the extra gem slot that would have made it op otherwise. |
