why did i do tailoring and not engineering ?

what about tailor is over engineer ?

when we were discussing about Specs in a topic , and a friend linked a recent DPS show from 2 warlocks of "paragon" and a warlock from "Method".

they all have engineering and use this head

Engineering's head piece is actually very good, and I believe it's far better then the T11 piece because you're able to control what stats you can have. You lose 1 socket but considering you have the control of what stats to put in it is amazing, not to mention the stats are huge (208).

Tailoring provides you the Lightweave Embroidery which increases your spellpower.

They're a good combo IMO.

If you're an engineer, you can make those shades for about 2k. If you are also an enchanter you can de them for a maelstrom crystal, which until recently were selling for 4k on my server.
So yeaaaaaa....
the only restriction is the number of Chaos Orbs you have.
Those shades are awesome in more ways than just combat.

im enchanter and tailor. i got tailor because enchanthing is a little cheaper when ure tailor . anyway . its too late for getting to engineer. both my professions are top with top recipes. cant spend that much and loose a profession also.Hope i get the 372 level one soon.as that can hardly compete with it :D

It's true that the 372 piece would be superior, but you also have to look at it in a way such as: what are your chances of actually getting the heroic t11 helm?

why not ? in the end , the best and the worst player has the same set :D best one has it quicker

thats my opinion though. Still ure so right in a way , as a responsible family guy cant play WoW sooo much enough to get it quick

edit: BTW i see that you have the bio-optics. lucky you :D

Hmm I think I will be keeping Enchanting then I have been pondering on whether to drop it for Tailoring (for the back enchant), but I thought it would be such a waste if I vendor BoP items I no longer need when it can be DE to maelstrom crystals ... I'm lucky maelstrom crystals start at 1.5k gold in my server. Once I can make and sell a couple of Power Torrent enchants, I'll be able to afford Darkmoon Card~

Re: Lightweight Bio-Optic Killshades

Tailoring - 143.3 Intellect.
Engineering - 96 Intellect.
Jewelcrafting - 81 Intellect.
Blacksmithing - 80 Intellect.
Herbalism - 80 Haste.
Enchanting - 80 Intellect.
Leatherworking - 100 Intellect.(80 after release of 4.0.6)
Inscription - 80 Intellect.
Alchemy - 80 Intellect.
Skinning - 80 Crit.

The engineering Cogs are scaled to an item of equal ilvl, the only difference is you pick the 2 stats.
