The reason some items and enchants are not recognized is that the spreadsheet is focussed on raiding gear (it simulates a long raid-boss fight). A few weeks ago, it didn't support rare (blue) items! That was bad, as many of us still raid in 'em (7 slots worth here!). It does not and probably will never support anything less than rare items or The Burning Crusade items. As for enchants, Bakka only tolerates the most raid-appropriate ones. No +18 spirit to boots! No + 200 health to chest!!! That's what I had on my gear until last night.  The pre-Wrath of the Lich King versions did work in OpenOffice, but the new version is still a work in progress. Excel only for now.

Not sure if it's a known problem but the spreadsheet is wildly innacurate for me right now. I'm doing around 1700 DPS more than it estimates I should be doing with my gear and spec. It's decent tool but it's not a great deal better than things like MaxDPS right not. |
