Below you will find information on locations and mob types that “I found helpful to me in farming the new Eternal's. Like Primal’s most people need them for crafted goods and are willing to pay for them. Farming can be easy but can also be time consuming. My goal is to share with you how I save some time by farming only those that have proven to me to be good sources.

In the beginning Blizzard gave us Essences, but with the expansion brought Mote’s. With the new expansion, The wrath of the Lich King they have brought us the Crystallized elements. There are only six different types, unlike motes which were seven. Like mote's we turn them into Eternal's by combining ten Crystallized elements. This is accomplished by right clicking on a stack of ten. They are named after all the elements, Air, Earth, Fire, Life, Shadow, and Water.

Here is a list of my “Best Creatures to Farm”. There are mobs with higher drop rates but in turn are higher level. I found that killing the lower mobs decreased my down time thus increasing my farming speed. (I have noted some exceptions to this rule.) Speed and efficiency is key to maximizing your farming efforts and in turn your economic prosperity. As you will most certainly find other mobs that you like to farm I have only listed the one's I have had the best of luck with.

• Wintersgrasp - Flame Revenant (amazing drop rate level 80)

Crystallized Shadow

• Wintersgrasp - Shadow Revenant (amazing drop rate level 80)

Professions

Mining - A Mininum skill level of 375 (RCD) to start but 450 (TV, RSD) will be needed for the higher viens

Herbalism - You will need to have a skill of at least 350 recommend 425 (3.1 will reduce it to 375)

Fishing - You will need a skill of 380 to cast, 475 to stop fish getting away.

Engineering – Zapthrottle Mote Extractor does work in Northrend.

Tips

• I highly recommend a flying mount. This will help you both to save time and reach places that otherwise would not be open to you.

• As stated by many people try and do your farming on “off peak” hours. I find the best time is early in the morning.

• Make use of an Add-on Like Cartographer or my personal choice Gatherer
• It should be noted that this guide is tuned for level 80.
