Which Faction - The Oracles or Frenzyheart Tribe and why?
Much like Scryer vs Aldor, The Oracles and The Frenzyheart Tribe are opposite factions, where when you gain reputation with one you lose reputation with the other. If you are hated with the Frenzyheart Tribe, you will be unable to complete daily quests for them and will be attacked on sight because you are friendly or better with The Oracles, who are the Frenzyhearts sworn enemies. If you've not yet begun the dailies and don't know where to start, please see the following: Sholazar Basin - Choosing your faction! Switching Factions To switch factions from Frenzyheart Tribe to The Oracles you must defeat Artruis the Heartless, a level 77 elite that is soloable by many classes. During the fight with Artruis you are attacked by both an Oracle (Jaloot) and a Frenzyheart (Zepik), you must leave the Jaloot the Oracle alive and kill Zepik the Frenzyheart, then finish defeating Artrius in order for the Oracle [77] Hand of the Oracles quest giver to appear. Completing this quest automatically boots your rep to honored, but reducesyour frenzyheart tribe rep to hated, so make sure you finish up anything you wish to do with the frenzyheart before completing this task. To switch factions from The Oracles to Frenzyheart Tribe you want to kill Jaloot and collect [77] Frenzyheart Champion . Completing this quest automatically boots your Frenzyheart rep to honored, but reduces your Oracles rep to hated, so make sure you finish up anything you wish to do with the Oracles before completing this task. Note that players outside of the party, or uncooperative party members, may kill the NPC you intend to save, so be aware of which quest you are accepting. However there is no real danger of accidentally switching faction as the change does not occur until completing the daily quest offered by the NPC who survived. If the desired quest giver is killed, simply wait for Artruis to respawn and repeat the encounter. Frenzyheart Tribe The Frenzyheart Tribe is a tribe of wolvars located in Sholazar Basin. Driven from their lands by the Scourge, this fierce tribe of wolvar stumbled upon Sholazar Basin, where they intend to make their new home. Their aggressive nature has put them at odds with the various gorloc tribes known collectively as the Oracles. Rewards Friendly Revered Exalted Notable Loot Being revered with the Frenzyheart Tribe grants you access to buy the Disgusting Jar. The jar takes seven (7) days to ripen, upon which it will turn into a Ripe Disgusting Jar that you can open. It can contain different items such as:
From Honored to Exalted Complete the three daily quests offered on Frenzyheart Hill, they are chosen semi-random from the ones listed above. There is always one of three possible dailies from Vekgar that make you kill 30-50 Sparktouched Gorloc, which awards 700 reputation. Then you get one daily of four from Rejek for 500 reputation, and another 500 reputation is rewarded for catching the chickens, which is available every day from Harkek. Therefore, the total reputation gain per day is 1700. Note: If you took the dailies from Vekgar and Rejek, and could not finish them on the same day, DO NOT delete them from the questlog. With a little luck they offer different quests the other day, and so you can finish BOTH the old and the new ones. Naturally, this does not work for the chicken hunting, since this quest is the same every day. Honored to Revered: 8 days The Oracles The Oracles are a race of reptilian creatures often referred to the "next evolution of murlocs". They see themselves as guardians of the titan technology that remains in their home zone of Sholazar Basin even though they may not even understand it. They find themselves in an escalating territorial war with the wolvar and their faction, the Frenzyheart Tribe. Rewards Friendly Revered Exalted Notable Loot Being revered with The Oracles grants you access to buy the Mysterious Egg. The Egg, like the Jar takes seven (7) days until it becomes a Cracked Egg, upon which you can open. It can contain different items such as:
From Honored to Exalted Complete the three daily quests offered in Rainspeaker Canopy, these are random from one of the 8 listed above. The dailies that make you kill many Frenzyheart Attackers award 700 rep, all others reward 500. Therefore you will earn 1500-1700 rep each day. Honored to Revered: 7 - 8 daysFortunately if you're waiting for the Mysterious Egg (which you can get at revered) to generate 4 non-combat pets that would take at minimum 4 weeks anyway (and that's assuming you are extremely lucky).

For me its the Oracles - desire the Oracle Talisman of Ablution (not a pretty name) for the Crit. Not enournous at level 80, but getting 1.5% increase to your crit at that level is generally hard across the board - and I think this is a good contribution for a trinket. And I have a pet fetish.... |

Oracle. I find the frenzy 'you dumb!' attitude extremely annoying, to the point that I almost don't care what rewards each side brings. |

grinding either of those 2 factions to revered/exalted aint one of my main goals, besides heroic badge vendor have better trinkets and there is so much else to do that is better for your gear and gold, and even fun. |
