Gear Comparisons to Tier 8
When Tier Gear starts to get collected, a common theme for new thread is "xxx Item vs xxx Tier piece - which is better?" We get a lot of them. I'd love someone to put together a post that compares say the top 10 items currently in the game, against each tier slot. Example: Tier 8 Head Piece 1. Item - Better than... 2. Item - Better than... 3. Item - Equal to... 4. Item - Worse than... 5. Item - Must worse than... Similar to how Canadianpimp did his Badge of Justice guide where he compares the purcahsed items against relative equivalent drops. Badge of Justice Pick Order Guide We'd be comparing T8 against Naxx 25, Maly and I guess the 10 man Ulduar items. I'm pretty sure all this could be accomplished by searching WoWhead or using Lootrank. I just don't have the time. If someone wants to take this on, that would be fantastic and I'm sure help the Den out heaps!! If you'd like to just tackle one piece (head, legs, what have you) then do that and post as a reply to this thread. I'm happy to collate it all.

While this isn't a direct comparison, I have mapped out the BiS gear for my lock using currently known ulduar gear. However, realize this will change once Yogg loot, and the rest of the ulduar loot is known. Item Comparison Tool - World of Warcraft |
