It's a PVP chant. Nothing more.

Sure SSO faction is easy to get, but getting to revered with Sha'tar is not all that hard and 22 spell damage and 14 hit easily trumps 18 stam.

Especially when you consider resilience is esentially useless in PVE.

Wowhead: +1, Insightful is a rather useful encyclopedia of things Warcraft....if its Warlock related (even tangentially) then we'll probably have it here but if not, go there

if I recall correctly, the mats were correct but got changed and the post simply did not get updated. If you are that concerned about the embaressing situation you mentioned you could always just use Wowhead or Thottbot.

Re: Enchanting your gear - Recommended Warlock Enchants

I've seen the references to Thottbot and Wowhead and agree they are useful but I found a couple sites that target professions and/or enchanting. Very useful resources that I use often. (My guildies think I'm a genius )

chordian.dk/enchants.htm

and

wow.crafterstome.com

Not using links because some folks are uncomfortable following links like this.

I think that Superior Healing on bracer is definitely also a viable enchant to put on your bracers. Apart from giving a useless 30 healing it also provides 10 spell damage. At 4 Primal Life and 4 Greater Planar Essence it is way cheaper than Spellpower on bracers.

On the Enchanting Skill Up guide there is a new free one at http://www.blizzardguides.com/Enchanting_guide.html

Which takes you to 375.

Hope this helps

Thanks to all you guys who work so hard to put all this together.

does this need to be updated with the new stones we can make after 3.0.2 patch? (going along with wizard oils)

Re: Enchanting your gear - Recommended Warlock Enchants

Yeah, I'd say this needs updating... the healing bracer (15SP)/ring enchant(12SP) are now the same as the spell damage enchant with the new Spell Power, with a lot of destro now speccing fire, but still using shadow dots (Curse of Agony/Corruption) for Molten Core proc, i'm not sure on the maths, but I think +40 Spell Damage (or the healing one, which does the same thing, but if you want a different looking effect on your weapon) would be the standard since Sunfire isn't as much as a boost for fire as Soulfrost was for shadow.

As far as weapon "temporary enchant" (oil and now stones) go, pretty straightforward: Spellstone for affliction (since most of your damage is DoTs and it benefits from the lower GCD and 1% extra DoT damage), Firestone for Demo (more crit means your pet crits more = more Demonic Pact uptime).

While destro has been mutilated beyond recognition since the patch, I haven't paid much attention to it, but I would guess since Incinerate crits are always good (and any extra direct damage boost they can get is good), I'd point at the Firestone too.

Ps. Talented Stones (Demo tree) 2/2: Firestone 45 crit, Spellstone 52 haste

Major Spirit to chest > +6 stats to chest.

Spirit to boots and Vitality to boots should both also be considered.
