Spirit to boots and Vitality to boots should both also be considered.
I'm just gonna stick to 150hp on my Robe of the Malefic... why? Because a life tap is still a life tap. Everyone seems to be freaking out about this new stat that warlocks have NEVER cared about.

Obviously people have forgotten and I think I should bring it to their attention. This latest patch is to prepare us for Wrath of the Lich King, not improve how our current gear situation is. If it was merely a patch change with no expansion in sight, they would've added spirit to all warlock tier gear.

Don't make a big fuss about spirit. It has only moved from a non-stat to a secondary stat. All it does is affect life tap: Whatever Blizzard really thinks a warlock needs will be on Wrath of the Lich King Gear in standard +stats. No need to gem or enchant for it.

Yes there are a lot of things that need updating since 3.0 - it's the reason I have yet to even spend my refunded talent points. I've been here every night. I will get to it eventually.

+10 to chest is better than +15spirit. But +15 spirit is better than +8 to chest.

It's on my list. Sadly my list has taken on a life of if it's own, and it resembles rabbits...

If it is, it is only by a hair. I don't think it is even close to warrant the difference in cost. According to an EJ post on affliction spec:

+15 Spi: 5.75dps
+10 stats: 5.0dps
+8 stats: 3.97dps

So, all are real close with Spirit getting the edge based solely on dps (not added health or mana).
