So what do you guys think of the gear that drops from these quests so far? It looks like my MHJ/SSC/BT gear will stick around for a few more zones. :D |

i personally do it myself so the need for your list is... non existant ( fact I have an upgrade list built for my shammy / hunter ) having said that others might benefit and it's a good cause =p that aside when I built my list I found it hard to place exactly where loot comes from... since you're doing it from quests only that problem is largely solved but in wowhead at least, some quests ain't linked to their pre req which could confuse people =p regarding gear replacement, the initial 70 to 75 loot is largely a replacement for anyone in outland quest rewards, kara, and season 1 gear. from 75 onwards it's mostly mid tier raid... SSC TK and the arena equal S2... for those wearing MH/BT/SWP gear, it should last you to 80 and possibly into naxx ( again an example using my shammy, I'll still be using 2xT6 even into naxx since there's no ready upgrades in those slots ) |

If anyone wants to help *raises eyebrow at Pernicious*, keep an eye out for any items that don't belong. For example, a wrist item from Howling Fjord, may still be better than a wrist item from Grizzly Hills, which means I don't need the Grizzy Hills one. No point listing an item if the reader will already have received better. Just reply here pointing out which item is not needed, and the reason (ie link of the one that preceeds it but is better). That would be a HUGE help!

i ditched my incomplete list for my casters... please continue Akasha <3 edit: i honestly don't think any item is better then others... purely because some might prefer more stats over spellpower while others favour haste over crit etc Last edited by Coud; November 11, 2008 at 06:05 AM.. |

This is awesome. I am wondering though, I am all in Seasons 2 gear... I haven't seen anything necessarily better yet. Will I be in these until level 80 epics? |

Level 80 items are up now Belthezor... and bear in mind, these are quest items only. You'll also have instance drops (from both lower level and 80 instances), PvP gear, Crafted Gear, etc.

if it's raw spellpower, should be around level 75 for replacing s2 gear ( as i posted before... ), factoring gems crit haste etc etc is beyond me. personal flavour and all bear in mind also wowhead could be incomplete. once wrath launch real data can be had, for now this is all beta knowledge ( granted i don't expect them to change, it's just some quests might not be known yet because pre reqs were bugged ) |

I think the general consensus from beta was: T4 will last you until 71-73 T5 until 73-75 T6 until 75-77 Give or take a level or two, of course. I have also heard the rumors that T6 gear can take you into level 80 and Naxx. (I'm mostly just happy that my hard-earned T4 gear won't be obsolete the minute I step into Northrend by some level 68 green quest reward gear.) |
