If possible, I would love to see how being ''hitcapped'' looks under optimal circumstances ( Misery/Draenei/Cataclysm or Supression ) Because thats the circimstance I find myself in in all raids so far and I am sure there are many out there who would love to get a bigger view. And thanks for the current info, sure makes it easier for me to answer all those questions about the hitcap lately. ( Check warlocks den! ) Even works for Mages ( And Elemental Shamans, and Shadowpriests only the Moonkins need some extra attention! ) |

Well Akasha. How much hit is needed when you have Misery on the boss, Cataclysm and a Draenei in your group? How much you need without the Dreanei but with Misery and Cataclysm, ect. I hope that makes more sense now? And well, lots of info on Warlocks Den relates to the other casterclasses as well so I often send them here to find stuff out. And since my motto is Warlocks > Mages (long story) I cant go telling them to look on a Mage forum ofcourse! ;p |

Aah ok, yes makes sense now. There's a thread I copied into the Mage forum which has something similar. Have a look at this thread Spell Hit (as of 3.0.3) - The Mage Tower Forums and under the 'How much spell hit do I need' there is a table with the different compositions and how much spell hit you need. Obtaining Hit Rating, a list
Using Kaliban's Class Loot Lists, and looking at heroics mostly, I compiled a list of items mostly with +Hit. There are also a few items in there that do not have hit, but are very good for the slot they are in. I did not look at normal mode drops yet, so if anyone knows of any items that come from elsewhere that are better than what is on this list please let me know and I'll edit it.
Adding up all that hit, it's 401, so nearing the cap without talents spent right there, not including enchants/gems. Hope this helps someone other than me.
