One of the issues with placing so much value in Hit (something that should be capped) is that you end up getting a lot of Best in Slot pieces with so much hit that altogether... its way too much. I put together a list of the perfect set with current available gear in my eyes.

Note that for Hit, I found it to be much more beneficial to your DPS to gear for 13% Hit rather than 14% hit. This is because there are 3 floating points in the first two tiers of Affliction you must use. And while two are quite useful (and necessary) in Imp Drain Soul, the last point is better utilized in Suppression rather than Fel Concentration.

• Hit Cap with Misery or ImpFF and 1 point in Suppression
• T7 2-piece.

Great list, Rutiene! Would love to a see a similar list for someone who can only do or only wants to do 10-man content. My guild is big, but is very casual, and has basically decided to stay out of 25 man content due to the organization difference. We can get 10 people to stay focused, but not 25.

Dont know about all your list, but gown of the spell weaver drops off 10 man maly, not 25, i know i have it. also verified but looking at loot table just to make sure and, yep, it drops from 10 man.

Well, the 3% buff/debuff means you only need 11% TT to cap your hit. This means that you have some alternatives to make your set hit capped with talents. I usually use a spec with both the aff and destro talent so /shrug. For the most part though it shouldn't hurt destro locks to lose 3% hit on aff spells.

Well, 1% in hit is worth about 32dps for Affliction locks. So to use Suppression or Cataclysm will reflect a dps gain of less than 32 per point. (Around the split of 21dps per point of Suppression and 11dps per point of Cataclysm) Usually, you can use those points elsewhere for around 30+dps/point. So it's better DPS practice to cap through gear, especially with how much hit most of the higher tier gear has.

This is especially important in higher gear levels as well, since most people take points out of Imp DS for Suppression points, and as you get up there with your DPS, you will get threat capped more often than not without the 10% reduction.
