Re: Demonology Best In Slot Guide
Furious Gladiator best for one handed slot? It's a pvp blade. What am i going to do with a small amount of resilence against a dragon? Surely the Fusion Blade, Soulscribe or even Runescribed Blade would be better. Sure the Blade has a high Spellpower, but the spirit, crit, or haste off one of these other blades would be better. |

Re: Demonology Best In Slot Guide
Check out the +SP on it. It is seriously the best weapon for PvE as well. This happened in BC too. I'm personally a little disappointed in Blizz.

Re: Demonology Best In Slot Guide
What about the Starshard Edge off Agalon. Since this is a Hit Rating guide that dagger has a 587 sp, 39 hit and its rated at 239. I belive this dagger to best in slot hit capped or not. |

Re: Demonology Best In Slot Guide
What i'm seeing so far is a good guide, but the major problem with it is that everything best in slot has hit. Which means that in the end your going to be way over hit cap following it. The problem is i can't think of a way to fix the issue, but i shall think on it for a while. |

Re: Demonology Best In Slot Guide
How are you getting a score of 68.46, for example, with an item with 133 spell power? Even the spell power alone will give 133*1.21=160.93 points...

Re: Demonology Best In Slot Guide
Hi There... This is my first post in the forum, but i think i found a way to calculate the Best In Slot. 1) I took the values that Akasha post some time ago, but if you have another values, we can work with that too. 2) I did 2 lists with wowhead. One with all the values so this one is the non-hit capped and looks like similar to the list in this thread. The second list i took have all the values except for hit, so this would be the hit capped list. 3) Then I choose the best items from both lists (Except trinkets because a list can´t check for procs). So i have 15 slots and 2 items from each slot. 4) Next move... i choose Excel to calculate all the combinations posible from this items and slots. 2^15=32,768 possible combinations. Thats a lot but Excel can hadle it. 5)Then i try to calculate the total value of each combination. With the limit that if the sum of hit was above the 446 hit rating the value of that excess of hit would be zero. I only check the values from each item in the hit-capped list and put the hit value from those items. I didnt take enchants in cosideration but i can do it. And i took the rare gems from non-JW players that wowhead suggest me. 6) I always work in 3 scenarios. a) Scenario 1 = 446 hit (No ShadowPriest on Raid) b) Scenario 2 = 368 hit (ShadowPriest on Raid) c) Scenario 3 = 158 hit (For Heroics) 7) RESULT: the best items in Slot for Scenario 1 with the values i took are in the next link. Item Comparison Tool - World of Warcraft I hope i can help with some info here and if you have another o more solid values i can work with plz post them here with the webpage that you got the info. Thank you so much for read this and good luck. |
