Great job! I would like to add one thing regarding consumables. As a destro lock I keep stacks of flame caps on hand. It increases your fire spell power by 80 for 1 minute! It does use your HS cool down, but in fights where I dont forsee taking that much damage I use them. Some fights you can get (2) in, but I did notice that the buff icon didnt pop up on the second use. Maybe it only allows one flame cap use per "in combat". These things are easy to farm and sell for pennies on the dollar.

Great guide BUT i disagree with Chaotic Skyflare Diamond being best for demo / destro warlocks. Im sure the outright damage of Emberskyflare diamond is best gem for any warlock build..1 damage > 1 crit...agree? S_W |

It's the 3% crit bonus that makes the CSD so great. With ruin, that bonus works out to 9% more damage on each crit actually. |

great guide, very helpfull to link your guide to the warlock roster of my guilde ^^. However I think you should'nt assume affli>destro>demono/destro cause except for affliction which is recognized as the currently best dps build on patchwerk there is no clear proof for others. Some say it's destro some, 0/41/30 with fg,0/41/30 with imp,0/31/40,... As I don't think that the goal of this guide is to decide which is the best you should instead link some thread with in-dep discussion about those build. What do you think about it ? |
