A Guide to Warlocks for Raid Leaders
First I put this in the General Forum because I wasn't sure where it should go. Second, while we have a lot of threads for discussing talents amongst ourselves I did not see one directed to raid leaders. The genesis of this was when my GM and raid leader asked for a summary of all raid buff talents and abilities currently provided by each class. a few things worth mentioning fel hunter: also has the ability to spell lock & remove some buffs/debuffs from a target infernal: stuns surrounding enemies when summoned doomguard: has a LOT of life and can do a very substantial amount of DPS when buffed properly. also has rain of fire which can add aoe damage if needed. death coil is also a form of short-term CC (3 second fear can really help out a healer sometimes ;p ) detect invisibility & underwater breathing are also not included - which seems odd since those are like our only 2 castable buffs. i'm constantly asked for detect invisibility by the tank in shade-zones of naxx |

As this guide is for raid leaders and not necessarily warlocks, I would think it would be more important to mention how our buffs are affected by other classes. You might want to mention how we work with Boomkins, Shammy totems, etc. |
