Things a lock should be warned off in PvP.

As some of you may have noticed, i am a fan of mods and PvP, and have been meaning to maximize the utility of MSCT for a while now. In order to do that i need a good list of spells or events a warlock should immediately react to. I am dividing the list in offensive and defensive parts, the offensive being the spells you always must have on (and are worthy of having an alert when they fade) and the defensive being the ones that are being casted by enemies or need a dispel asap.

Of...

Thanks Akasha, you know, to avoid this you can always give me mod clearance

Though i would have doubts about your sanity/alcohol level if you did

One more, if you're up against a team with a disc priest, save a spell lock and /or devour magic for when he hits Power Infusion - Spell - World of Warcraft. You do NOT want an opposing disc priest spamming heals with that active.

if I recall correctly Drain Mana got hit with a resilience nerf a little bit ago hence it's minor decrease in effectiveness. I still like it against pally healers.

I also use a self modified version of Lock Notes addon as well. I've programmed "action prompts" rather then "information prompts" to help gameplay under pressure. E.g. saving trinket for Kidney Shot, so when I get kidney shot, a warning flashes with sounds saying "TRINKET NOW". As opposed to wasting CD on a cheap shot.

I plan to expand this to "DEVOUR SELF NOW!" for say HoJ, Sheep etc.

I am mindful of avoiding information overload - hence the action prompt isolates a key group of critical info. With 30+ abilities in the list, in a 3v3 or 5v5; the amount of information although important might become overwhelming.

I will have OP's warnings for MSCT, but I think that the really critical ones (such as the kidney shot example above) need distinction as they can be game changing?

Interesting idea, don't think ill use it because i only 2v2 and like to see what the other is doing but still its a very good one, if i find myself being target of info overload ill give it a try.

As for the importance i may use it with Mik's giving normal prioroty spells just a warning an a generic sound and critical ones a customized sound.

I used to modify things like Berserker rage and Deathwish for an older version of lock notes. However, after the newer version, I was unable to modify it again, or failed to. Can you maybe point out where i can find some modification instructions?

I recall there was an example from where i downloaded it, but somehow it doesn't work for me anymore...

thanks
