Good times at 30
So I hit 30 last night, I also repec'd to a aff build. After getting some practice time in I decided to head back to familiar territory for me, that would be Redridge.
So I am sure most of you can recall feeling similar, so don't laugh, but it was really nice to plow through areas that gave me so much trouble just a couple weeks ago. I actually solo'd Yowler on my own, what really makes me feel awesome is that I see groups gathering in Lakeshire to venture out on that quest. Now I am off to get Fellhunter! |

Re: Good times at 30
the felhunter quest is so much less harsh than the succubus before it. You can walk the dustwallow and if you've waited a couple of levels, eaisly beat down the monsters that jump you.
As or affliction grind, it's beautiful. I grabbed some points in destro too, because shadowburn's instant damage is too nice to turn down in an emergancy situation. I recently got dark pact, and my whole style has changed, I know the feeling. I'm suddenly tanking for myself. I don't think I'm quite as a survivable against multiple mobs but mobs are going down faster and I'm getting practice for grouping and I know when I hit an instance and get aggro it won't be an emergancy as I'll be capable of tanking a simular levelled elite and not running out of HP and MP. I haven't made a proper test yet though. But anyway.. the challenge...the challenge and change is amazingly fun. |
