Re: Hit rating and aggro managment

Easy, the "hit bashing" gets a little over the point these days!

Unless you are a forum dude and hanging with the "pros", many, many people don't care about actually reaching 202. I do know a lot of players who are in the 120-180 range and succesfully raiding SSC/TK. They could do better, yes, but for a DOT class it's one GCD wasted, not that the worlds ends. Ask melee classes about hit cap. Unless you have the pros you usually get puzzled answers...

Reaching 202 before even entering KARA is over the top, you get the most nice +hit gear to start up there after all. Yes, it would be aduqate to get FSW/Spellstrike/Ruination full +hit gemmed, but there are people with alife.

Elistism like that last post by qwwerty has it's well known and adequate place at the official forums only in my opinion.

EDIT: Especially considering that player HAS spelltrike/FSW correctly +hit socketed.

Re: Hit rating and aggro managment

Sometimes wisecracks are just meant to be funny. It'd be nice to see more crackdowns on posts containing misinformation and a little more benefit of the doubt when someone is just being a smarty pants.

Missed spells cause no threat on an engaged mob. A mob that has not been engaged or has an aggro wipe can be pulled by a missed attack. The "aggro" generated by that is very small though.
