2's partner?

I'm new to arena, and I was wondering what the best partner is for a lock. I know a druid lock team is insane, but with shadow weaving I have to think an spriest would be even better. Just wondering what the general consensus is.

Re: 2's partner?

Druid + Sl/Sl lock is a VERY good combo. You outlast opponents by draining mana of the healer, then go in for the kill. The druid is very hard to kill, and with Sl/Sl so are you.

Shadowpriest + Warlock is also a good combo, but to get the most out of it, you need to spec Affliction. This is not an outlast and survive combo, the aim is to do as much damage as possible. However, against rogue teams or teams which do melee/ranged damage, this team *can* get weak.

But, other healers can also work. A friend of mine is sitting at 1800 rating with a shaman healer partner. Whilst a Resto Druid is considered the best healing partner, others may also work. On the other hand, another friend got to 1670 last season with an elemental shaman. Damage output was INSANE!
