Just a quick thanks

I have seen a few people talk about spell rotations for raiding (or just general use) and I thought, "Yeah sure... that makes sense. Whatever guys" but then I really thought about one suggestion.

As some of you know, or can tell from my armory page, I am a destruction lock. I burn things. I naturally do pretty well with dps since I nuke everything I can. Well, there was a suggestion to try the following: Immolate -> Incinerate x4 (... and continue as you would). I have no clue why I never thought of this.

I normally would drop a curse, corruption, immolate, conflig(for the instant damage), immolate (let it tick and wait for conflig's cool down), conflig (refreshing dots as needed), and throw out shadow bolts when possible.

And I called myself a destruction warlock?
I tried out the following: CoElem, corr, immolate, incinerate x4, conflig,...

WOW that made a difference. I had no idea just how little conflig was doing compared to how much damage i was neglecting to dish out with incinerate. I don't remember who on here suggested that but thank you for helping me realize what I had been doing wrong.

lol... Im glad the realization came to you =)

If yer focusing on Fire as it seems you are, then yes! Incinerate the hell out of that mob!! Incinerate CAN be comparable to SBs if Immolate is on your target! (and for some boss fights Incinerate beats SBs, for those bosses with high Shadow resist). Keep trying out new rotations, but that last one you posted is an Ideal spell rotation.

Yeah, I thought i'd try it out in AV to see just how much damage I had been throwing away. I ended up tanking Bal since the tank we had got frustrated with me going full bore on her. SCT was scrolling crits on one side and greater heals on the other. I left the battle with "/bg Nice Heals". I got the reply "/bg nice warlock tanking".
It may not have been, but I still took it as a compliment ;)

All in all.. the changes brought me to second on the list for highest damage.. and i was only maybe a kill or so away from first. I can't believe i'd been missing out.
