I'm looking for advice

I've been coming to this awesome for some weeks now to improve my playing. My build is 3/19/38. I just can't give up the almost instant corr I always throw on a mob. I'm finding my DPS is lacking. My spell rotation in grp or raids is corr, CoE, immolate, spam SB. Occasionally, I'll throw incinerate
between Immolate and SB.
What's going wrong?

Can you link your armory page? There's a good chance that you don't have good enough gear to support a destruction spec. Also, most people that go heavy destruction only go 40 points in so they can put 21 in demonology and sacrifice a succubus for a HUGE 15% damage increase.

/agree with debuff.

Basic rule : 25% crit with talents(means 20% crit on tooltip) 1100 spelldamage and as high a hit as you can go ( i personally skimp on hit for damage but even i wun suggest that for any1else and i try not to skimp too much =P)

Also the 15% damage increase from sac,let em empahsie again is HUGE.ive found i cant pull ahead of affliation locks wihtout it.So if you dun wan sue that,you might well be affliation.

Also,use spreadsheets to check for most effective cast sequence.Ive found suing immolate = lesser dps while a 2sec corruption = higher DPS.

From what I can see on your gear, you could probably replace some gems. grab the noble topaz gems that increase spell damage and hit. You will likely also need a bit more crit but I would work on getting your damage up since it seems a bit low. Also, this might be minor but are you using Fel Armor? It might have expired at the time the armory got your stats.

Id probably throw a couple more points into shadow and flame. Maybe take points out of unholy power for that. Any reason why you only have 3 points in Improved corruption?

Backlash and shadow burn are useful.. but mostly PvP. If that isnt your focus, then disregard.

Overall I'd say get the better gems. Maybe a head piece that allows for a meta. Then tweak spec as needed. And the frozen shadow weave set is a nice set.. though, in my opinion, its more suited for the affliction lock. I could be (and probably am) wrong, but its just my opinion.

ok in all honesty, you gear just can't support a destruction build. your +hit is in the double digit region and your crit is depressing

your gem choices is also a mess (+4 resist? )

i could def say you'll prob fair better being full affliction rather then your hybrid build

Yea, you definetly need to replace all your green gems with blue or epic gems... go with the +spell and + spell hit gems and as Coud said....your gear doesnt support destro yet. The FSW set will last you along time and there really isnt any decent enough gear in kara that will replace any of the pieces, its well worth spending the coin on the better gems for them.
