Tactics and Strategies for Farming Primals

I'm just wondering what your strategies for farming primal fires are and the other primals, but i really need fire. i've specced aff lately and so i can't drain tank anymore, so what i've been doing is taking my VW saccing him(he can't take aggro off me anyway) and just using corruption/SB spam ie maxrange SB, SB, corruption, he starts hitting me, SB, SB, dead(drainsoul maybe) is there a better way? or should i just go back to affliction or even demonology? also i have almost no gold.

This is my usual sequence:
1) Cast UA on a mob
2) Start running
3) Follow up with Siphon Life, Curse of Agony, Corruption
4) Target another mob
5) Cast Siphon Life, Curse of Agony, Corruption
6) Repeat 4 and 5 on 2-3 mobs
7) When you have a couple of mobs beating on you, cast Howl of Terror
8) Drain life on one of the mobs untill it's dead, and then switch and repeat untill all are dead.

I used to use the imp with Dark Pact and my preferred place for motes of fire is in Hellfire Penninsula where the dailys are being done.

My roommates call me china, cause of how i farm when I want to of course. As affliction I farmed all the mats for Spellstrike in 2 days not buying any of them.

As affliction if you do SL/Corruption/Curse of Agony and just keep going you can get 5-6 mobs and never lose health. You have to get a minimum of SL on 3 targets to "break even" on not losing health. I used to be able to get upwards of 7-8 mobs in t4/early t5 gear. Its amazing! Try it. I promise you can't fail.

I normally get anywhere from 5 motes to a primal fire just by doing the 2 dailies located at the Throne of Kil'Jaeden in Hellfire Peninsula. So if you go there and do some killing, you can even make a little bit of money while you're at it. ;)

As for farming, I either do additional killing after I'm done with the dailies -- though it's usually pretty crowded -- or I go to the lava-covered area in the center of Shadowmoon Valley.

I can't really speak for spec since I'm Demo, but I don't usually have any problems just spamming SB's at them. (Though, to be honest, if I'm actually farming fire then I just use one of my other 70's since it's even easier. ;) )

Farming Demo or Destro is so easy. First sac your felpuppy for the mana regen and you can go without stopping. Then SB->SB->SB(or shadowburn) and they're dead. Starting at max range you can almost always kill the mob before they get to you. You may not be able to DOT up mutiple mobs like an affliction lock, but just 2 shotting most of them makes farming go really quick. I was in Blades Edge farming fires the other day and was getting about 4 primals an hour. I use my Airman's badge trinket when farming and the +80 buff is up almost constantly and with the felpuppy sacced I can go with full mana the whole time. By the time you loot, your mana should be just about topped off after every kill.

As demo or destro I don't worry about curses or dots unless I'm farming shards and need the damage ticks while soul siphoning. For farming motes, questing, etc. Its just a SB blast. You should be able to take down a mob with 7-8k hp in 2 or 3 shots and the mana used to throw up dots is a waste.
