Re: Death's Embrace

Quick question about this talent:

Does it work for spells already on the target?
I mean, if target goes under 35% do corruption ticks increase by 12 %?

OFC the same question about the drain life ticks, if you go below 20% while channeling DL, do you start getting bigger ticks?

Re: Death's Embrace

Its probably a little hard to tell right now becuase everything is alot easier. However this talent should be very nice for raiding. 12% more damge for over 1/3 of a fight(espicaly in long fights) seems to be pretty nice and should pump damage a decent amount. Like I said its hard to find a long fight these days so it doesn't get the chance to shine, but imagine it on Council befor the nerf when the fight took forever.

Re: Death's Embrace

I've tried one experiment on elite mobs. dotted, kept feared, checked for Death's emrbace proc-ing. I saw no change in damage values through his low health period. Tried it again, but reapplied when at very low health and they ticked for higher values. Fairly sure that was down to this talent.

My impression is that you have to re-apply spells to get the effect, but would value confirmation from others. would be more useful if it took effect on existing dots, and therefore really quite situational....bosses with lots of hp would be nice dps boost.

Re: Death's Embrace

Check this talent on

World of Warcraft Europe - Talents

and on

WorldofWarcraft.com - Talent Calculator.

I play in Europe, so i m just curious about this.

If it s true, i really wonder whether other classes suffer by the same kind of Bliz indifference.

Or this just indicates Blizzard perspective concerning our class? I think they dont really care to look upon us seriously and with professionalism.

Anyone happen to know if the bug related to this talent has been fixed? After a few searches, I do see Blizzard acknowledging that it was bugged (needing to reapply spells ion order for it to work) in the bug report forums, however, curious if it's actually been fixed yet. Would really like to spec into it if only it worked correctly!
