I believe imp gives better dps as affliction than fel puppy. It's not wise to steal mana from imp if relying on him for dps so no dark pact either. Which is nice 'cos it saves me two or three points (no need for darkpact or this talent). I haven't tested pet dps enough to be certain though, so I'm not awarding marks for that reason. For me though, it's a pointless talent atm. |

Dark Pact is useful, while I depend on my Life Tap for most mana regen, sometimes it's better to do a DP instead for a bit of mana. I'm not sure that the 2 points in Improved Felhunter are worth it. Not from the mana regen side (which is nice) but because I don't think the points boost the Felhunter's damage enough to make it worth it. Even without the 2 points, my Felhunter almost always has enough mana regen for me to lifetap every so often. |
