Re: Improved Fear
I'm currently spec'ed for this and have tried it in PvP, but I'm not sure I've seen the snare effect. I assume this is because players routinely trinket or use some other ability that gets them out of the fear before it runs to completion. So, that begs the question: does the speed reduction after-effect only come into play when the fear goes for the full duration? Or, should I expect to see it irrespective of how the fear ends? If the former, I'd say the value of this talent in PvP is questionable. |

Re: Improved Fear
for pvp this seems like a wasted talent to be honest because anything the target opponent is going to use to break fear will also break the snare effect along with it |

Re: Improved Fear
As a thought, what about using lower level fear with the shorter duration it is more likely to do the snare effect? say level 1 with only a 10 second duration, Is this a viable tactic? with Fear's nerf, level 1 fear may be the way to go anyway. |

Re: Improved Fear
Im fairly sure it still inflicts "Nightmare" when someone trinkets out; at least, I always notice the debuff, and I very much doubt my fears last their full duration in bg's Looks a bit like the silence debuff when someone dispel's your UA. |
