What is the attraction to TM?

Well, I'm leveling my alt (level 32 Blood Elf Preist) and I've notice that EVERY FREAKIN DAY Alliance are raiding Tarren Mill. I just have to ask, what is the attraction?

What, does the Sword of a Thousand Truths drop for Alliance there or something? Geez...

Re: What is the attraction to TM?

I have raided TM. People play this game for differing reasons. I am on a pvp server for a reason.

There are minimal rewards to world pvp, but there is something in it that I enjoy, as others may.

I would love to get a raid group on Orgimarr but the coordination involved is daunting--so TM is a nice alternative.

Although, I personally prefer a good beat down at SplinterTree Outpost.

Re: What is the attraction to TM?

You play on a PvE server. Who cares? They can't affect you, unless they are constantly killing your quest giver, then you have the right to report them for abuse. The poor little hordlings on my server don't have it that easy. When myself and my buddies decide to liberate Tarren Mill from the Horde(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarren_Mill), they can't do anything about it. When I kill their flight master to stop them from escaping, they can't do anything about it. When I kill their quest givers, their inn keepers, and their guards, there is nothing they can do about it. That is because I play on a PvP server and the GM's expect us to do that crap. You should feel sorry for them, because I do it alot.

Re: What is the attraction to TM?

Becuase they like to attack the low levels(I.e gank) and if you're not higher then 60 you won't do well with cities etc since you can't get past the guards.

As do the horde westfall gets attacked a lot and southshore.

Re: What is the attraction to TM?

The Alliance and Horde flight paths and graveyards are very close together in Hillsbrad. The terrain is wide open and mobs are not at all dangerous.

In other words, it's a nearly perfect spot for both factions to cause a little headache for the other side.

Off hand I can't think of another zone in Azeroth that is so attractive for both sides.

I often wonder where the heck those guys who hit Crossroads have to come from?

Re: What is the attraction to TM?

the prob i see with tm is that the guards there are only 40 something elite where as the southshore guards are 50 something elites.

Yeah true but with the barrens I don't see to many level 60+ raiders.
I see like levels 30-50 there. They can really only attack there becuase guards in most places are 65 so they would not have a chance.

Ratchet, which is just down the road, is only a boat ride from Booty Bay, or a short flight from Theramore, which is only a boat ride away from Menethil (which is one stop on the gryphon from Ironforge).

Not far at all, really!!!
