Handwraps...grumble, grumble

After going into Karazhan for 6 months and never seeing them drop... I lost the Handwraps to our relatively new Shadow Priest last night. These are still my most desired drop, more so than anything off the 25 mans we're doing or the Prince cloak or the Shade wand.

Grumble, grumble..... I knew open rolls in Kara were a bad idea

Is the drop rate on those really as low as 5%? Will I see them drop again before the expansion?

I'll just keep telling myself its for the good of the guild that we all do more damage. I'm typically not a loot whore, but damn I wanted those.

I got em the first time in. I've seen other folks d/e em when they got their tier 4 gloves, oh so silly. I keep mine with +hit gems and +15 spell hit chant on them for boss fights, gives me 35ish to hit. So worth it to farm to get to the +hit cap.

5% sounds too low. wowhead lists the drop rate at about 12-15%. you might see it again or you might not--the drop is random.

I feel your pain man, I've been after Ritssyn's Lost Pendant for so long now. It dropped in our first week there, and went to a lock who wow-quit a month later. Since then I reckon I've been to kara enough to hit exalted twice over - seen it drop twice more and lost both of them to shadow priests. Grrr.

Sometimes you just have to let go.

funily enough, the handraps and the pendant barely ever dropped for me and when they did, either the mages or shadow priests would get it...people who would then subsequently quit the guild and join a guild doing more advanced 25-mans -.-

This is the exact reason why i gave up raiding, de'd my fsw/spellstrike and started arena. At least in arena im gauranted my gear based on how well i perform and i dont have to spend 3-4 3 hour nights in the same scripted encounters in the hope that one or two of my desired items would drop and not get rolled for by others.

We've seen the gloves drop a couple times and I got them pretty early on, so the drop rate doesn't seem too bad from what I can tell. Now, as far as Rittysn's Pendant goes....don't get me started

We started Kara over 6 months ago and hasn't dropped once!

Yeah I've never seen the pendent drop either.

Despite not having seen it yet, it is nice to have a trash drop out there as it is nice motivation for a full run.

I am hoping that I don't have this problem, as I am down to the pendant, handwraps, and the drape. I lost on a roll for the drape, and I have yet to see Attumen.

Wow, makes me thankful for our guild's luck. I think we've got 2 Warlocks and a Shadow Priest wearing the pendant, and as far as I know all DPS casters that wanted the gloves have them.

I guess you gotta just keep plugging away at the bosses until you get your drops.

the pendant drop on my guild first run into kara... right after we killed attumen. A shadow priest got it. :(

then, 3 months later it dropped while i was AFK. Good thing we had master loot and everybody knew i was hoping to get it.
