New Lock

Hey guys this is my first lock, I decided that I want to learn as much as I can about this class and find a proper talent build for a pvp server. See you guys around the forums.

Sorry you had such an unpleasant first experience Xidian. Do feel special though as this type of thing is so rare you're likely to be one of the few. Welcome aboard!

Welcome Xidian, you'll find that the Warlock community is the most informitive and well mannered fourms around. Not to mention, Akasha runs a tight ship thank goodness which we are all very thankful of.

and just to get you started on your easier leveling path... all Talent points into Demo until lv 51/+5 if you want instant cast corruption as your first 5 points .. then you can decide which way you want to go.

lol I"m not worried about it, I've been on a few boards and had this kind of thing happened to me quite a few times. I never take small things like that out on the forum, just peeps with no lives, having nothing else to do.

Welcome, Xidian. My suggestion for looking into builds is to click on some of the members' profiles and check out the builds being used. Personally, I'm not much of a pvp, but I'm 41/1/19 and tear up in the raids my guild does, and I normally dont get my face smashed too much in pvp..lol

Welcome, Xidian. I play on a pvp server and I'm loving my 41/0/0 build. It's nice for soloing and is mana efficient so if I get jumped by some Alliance, I can still rip into them and teach them a lesson they'll never forget. My favorite was when a guildie and myself were doing Hinterlands quests, we got jumped by a gnome lock who was ?? to me at 48 and before he killed me I got off howl of terror, deathcoil, fear, and corruption

. So a full affliction build is nice for these kind of servers. (Demonology and Destruction are both viable talents as well) It works for bgs too, especially arathi basin. Hope this helps out somewhat.
