I had an awesome fight!

Ok, I'll try not and go into the play by play as it can get boring if you weren't there to see it. Last night, my good friend Blimpie and I were questing in Zangarmarsh and we see that an Ally had just taken the second tower. This means that all they have to do is run their flag to the central graveyard area to take over the Zone Buff. We decided, what the heck, lets go mess him up.

Blimpie was a level 64 Blood Elf Prot Paladin, and I was a 64 Affliction Lock (using my imp) at the time. As we rode towards the PvP area, we were talking about what Ally might be racing towards the grave with his flag and jokingly said "With our luck, it'll be a 70."

Well, we arrived to the central area just before the Ally showed up, and naturally it turned out to be a level 70 Mage followed immediately after by a level 70 Pally! Both of us thought we were screwed. The pally charged Blimpie, and I squared off against the Mage with the mindset of escaping, but Blimpie stayed to fight and the Mage turned to nuke him. I came back with fear, and a few well placed nukes, Using my racial Silence ability and we managed to kill off the Mage.

Bolstered by the fact that we killed 1 level 70 player, we turned to fight the Pally. It was a long fight where the pally kept healing himself over and over eventually blowing his lay on hands. Finally through strategic use of fear, silences and stuns, we killed him too. The Mage had just rezzed and we killed him a second time!

I tell you, we were completely stoked at having just killed two other players 6 levels higher than us, and one of them twice! Times like that make me wish I had Fraps!

Sounds like you had some fun! I wish I were lucky enough to have an encounter like that. As far as I can remember, I haven't been in any fights like that.

my last PvP was in stranglethorn vale where a level 70 blood elf pallidan turned around on his mount and took the time to gank my level 30 pallidan alt.

Great! This is like the time I defended crossroads from a 70 priest as a 63 warlock... 6 times. That priest must have been really horrible. For the last kill a 50-something rogue joined the priest and as he tried sneaking around me, me seeing him clearly, my felguard stunned him and a couple of routine attacks later he was dead. Good times.

Way to go..even though you killed a fellow Allience....No worries, I shall kill ten horde for each time you killed my brothers in arms

I do love it when you can take down someone whom is a higher level then you.

I agree, those sort of fights are fun. However, after Beta testing and PvP, I tell you it's not like that currently with the new talents. Hopefully they'll make some changes before it goes Live. I was recently 'murdered' by a Titan's Grip Warrior, a Ret Pally, a Death Knight ...

My best fight was a 1 on 1 with a level 70 tauren warrior in AV. It took me a few minutes but i did come out on top with about 300 hp left. It was so funny because you could see he was getting pissed that he couldn't kill a little gnomey lock. With my imp out I had 11k health. After the initial intercept and stun I got off a fear, dot'd and Coe him. He trinked out the first fear and I Dc him then feared again. I was dl, sb and fearin my butt off. I put my imp in stay and he was droppin fire balls on him every chance i could. I finnaly got him by kitin him with Coe and dots.

The last thing he saw was a gnome flippin him off and laughing at him (/rude for a gnome looks like he is giving the finger)

So, if you hordies see a little gnome flippin you off and then laughing... it's me.
