Simple fix...make Meta perm I know GC says they have to many perm metas IE All druid specs, Shadow, spirit wolf form, so on and so forth...I'm just saying a perma meta would fix demo...that easy. and when I say that easy..I mean exactly.... THAT EASY.... And ....actually while im on a rant...I just want to ask a question...Do you think Shadow priest should have the exact formula and spells that Warlocks should have? I mean instant dots a fear that rivals us? All I'm getting at is I think warlocks and shadow priest are the same class but shadow priest are better ( I always compete with a shadow priest on the dps meter's ) A good shadow priest does crazy dps. Devoring plague is like Immolate to me ...with its target damage followed by a dot...Why can't Immoate be a instant cast? One last rant...I shouldn't be competeing with a hrybrid dps ...EVER...... I agree that a permanent metamorphosis would make Demo so much better. I don't know the numbers but with the percentage increase in damage it seems likely. From a PvP stand point I think this would be the new PvP spec.. period. It would probably be too OP actually. I would LOVE this to happen though. All those perm forms they have out there but non of them are ours and this fits so perfectly in terms of RP. But evictoray is right.. don't hold your breath  Regarding Shadow Priests.. I don't know. I mean holy (or better yet unholy) person gaining their power from their faith should be powerful as well. Maybe those out there that are more up on the lore behind the two classes could answer better. I haven't really played with many spriests so I haven't noticed their dps being as high, but I do agree that a hybrid shouldn't out dps a pure dps... gear and skill being equal that is Spriest does seem cool though. I love their shadow form.. wouldn't envy it if we had demon form though

I wouldn't want permanent meta personally. That would make it boring and WAY too much like a shadow priest. I understand your argument of "if they get it, why can't we?" The problem is that most people (including myself) picked a lock because they wanted to play a lock, not a shadow priest. It's the same problem people see with destro and its similarities to mages... if they make it permanent you'll just see the same complaints. Now, i've seen some pretty good shadow priests, and they come no where near the damage I put out (granted, I've always either been affliction or destro). Maybe during the trash with lots of AoE or something like razorscale they can do a lot of damage, but for the majority of fights shadow priests should come no where near you, specially in single target fights. |

I disagree. Becoming a demon would be extremely fun IMHO. The idea of it being "boring" wouldn't come into my mind. I mean.. why would it? And I think more people would probably want that over the alternative. Meta and Shadow Form are different in a lot of ways. The armor buff and immolation aura besides the other buffs. If they made Demo exactly like the Shadow talent with the same offensive spells and play style, then I could see complaints, but not simply by giving us a permanent demon form. Still what ever they do it obviously won't make all of us happy and all of us are certainly entitled to his/her opinion on how they would make it not only better, but also more fun. So.. what is a Shadow Priests play style like? I always figured it would more like affliction than anything else. And honestly my image of them was a lower tiered warlock

eh i get this... affliction and the hybrid demo/destro build seem to beat straight demo atleast in my experences.... it does seem that demo could use a buff

If Meta became a permanent form they would have to scale it back so that it wasn't too OP. And then you would be weak against Warlock and Paladin teams in arena, plus with the scaled back power from it you wouldn't have the same burst capability it has now. Honestly I think a better fix all the way around for Meta would just be to make it last about 10 seconds longer and reduce the CD slightly. This would up the DPS noticeably while making the form more available in PVP as well.

well ill tell you the only drawback i can see for nexes comment, The Blizz forums would be flooded with all the melee classes who are affected complaining about it Such classes would be Almost any melee cept pallies and arms warrs because of the armor buff with Molt skin and SL would mean something like 50% Dam mitigation and rogues would be shut down, all you would have to do is pop meta and rogues dont do enuff damage . we would basically be prot warrs with dps and a repeatable fear HOWEVER: I myself would absolutly love Meta Form SB and locks go hand in hand

true, I would personally love this change, yeah it prolly wouldnt be that bad of a flame up. I can just imagine rogues making a mess bout not bein able to kill everyone who is a squishy anymore
