Honorable kills

I think I was flying around WG before the battle began and I wanna say maybe a druid flew up to me did his knock back spell and I went crashing into the ground and he just flew off. Now as sadistic and awesome as that is would you actually classify that as an "honorable kill" ?

Re: Honorable kills

No, but druids have instant cast flight form. so he can pop out, cast it, and pop right back in. and no, that's far from an honorable kill. i would think that for an HK it must be mostly player damage

Re: Honorable kills

No, but flight form is insta-cast. So you can resume flying even while falling.

Re: Honorable kills

But flight form cannot be cast in combat, does the knockback not put the druid in combat? Or were you high enough so he could get out of combat before impacting?

I'd put that somewhere near the feral-charge-stun from the air on the list of "dishonourable things druid can do", but probably further up because the charging actually takes practice. And I guess it ellicts more of a "wtf"-moment in the bombee, as in "where the heck did that huge fat bear come from?"

Re: Honorable kills

Same thing goes with mage's Blast Wave.
Usually, they can just knock you off and then use Feather Fall.

The fun thing, though, is that if you manage to throw a dot at druids before they manage to enter flight form, then they're equally screwed :D

Re: Honorable kills

If you think druids are OP,

i was doing some bg's with my paladin and let my 69 pala hoover over borean tundra. after i exited the bg i went to get a drink. When i returned a level 72 Hunter was shooting at me from the ground (guess i was in his range with pvp on). it didnt really bothered me I just fly higher and at almost max distance i dismounted...dropped to the ground and bubbled at the last second. Let's just say that the hunter got what he diserved and went from : "Where the **** did he go, he must have flown away"...followed by: OH SHIT! it's back!...dead.../lol
