Poll: How old are you?
Maybe your Warlock is 50 in dog years, but that doesn't mean that you are. According to an older study the average age of WoW players was around 28... how do you measure up? No names will be revealed and there's no sinister marketing motive (you already agreed to install that trojan when you signed up... but I've said too much already  )... so fess up.Extra points for those who call themselves out and tell their story.

Old guy here... 38. My father (even older guy) is in his early 60's and plays a hunter in my guild! Of course we don't take him to raids since he'd just complain about the drafts in Icecrown (just kidding). Actually, once of the things I like about WoW is that it gives me the chance to actually have a hobby in common with my dad. Once you get past the age of tossing around the football in the back yard, that's a pretty rare thing (esp when you live in different states) Quote:

Nice bell curve going on so far. I'm 26 and live with my gf. I was trying to get into the game industry for awhile, and finally landed a job doing 3D models and special effects for a Wii and an XBOX 360 game, which didn't last long (bad start-up and the games were never released) :( Since then I've started my own company with some friends and we're making mobile games. Out latest one is called iDuel Online on the iPhone (sorry to advertise). It's funny, because to this day WoW has served as wonderful reference for me when comparing successes in game design, how to interact with an audience, and how to cater to casual vs core gamers. Granted, I still want more warlock buffs  But that's for another thread.

Even older than Fiz! 39. And 7 year old daughter Emari (hence the name Emarisea) has just started playing. However, she chose a blood elf mage, and spends her time fishing, picking flowers, and cooking. Tried skinning, but she wouldnt have it (poor lions). And her favorite place is the barber shop. Have often come back into the room to see my toons getting a makeover

I am the oldest in my guild age 42. I get called Grandpa. When I played on Proudmoore I played with a couple who were in their 60's. |
