Demonic Empathy

Welcome to the discussion thread on everything "Demonic Empathy". Below you will find some useful information to give you a rough overview of this talent and how it comes into play, followed by comments, opinions and information from Warlocks who have first have experience with it. Talent information:
Talent Tree: Demonology, Tier 9
Requires: 40 Points already spent in Demonology Talents
If your pet critically hits, your spell or abilities are increased. If you critically hit, then your pet gets the boost!

Ranks:

Rank 1: When you or your pet critically hits with a spell or ability, the other's damage done by their next 3 spells or abilities is increased by 1%. Lasts 15 sec.

Rank 2: When you or your pet critically hits with a spell or ability, the other's damage done by their next 3 spells or abilities is increased by 2%. Lasts 15 sec.

Rank 3: When you or your pet critically hits with a spell or ability, the other's damage done by their next 3 spells or abilities is increased by 3%. Lasts 15 sec.

TheAkrab Character Info Akrab 80 Undead Warlock Sunstrider Euro PvP Guild: Frenzy Profile: Blizzard Armory Talent Spec: 54/17/0	Demonic Empathy I have a question about the Demonic Empathy talent, it says: Demonic Empathy: When you or your pet is critically hit, the other has a 33/66/100 % chance to have their casting or attack speed increased by 30% for 8 sec. My question being: who are they referring to as "the other"? __________________ Pizjub for President!

mat2d2 Character Info Llossa 70 Undead Warlock Sylvanus Euro PvP Guild: Blizz Profile: Blizzard Armory Talent Spec: 43/7/11	Demonic Empathy I'm guessing but... If you are crit then your pets attack speed is increased and if your pet is crit it makes you attack faster.

Bolded the improtant part. You or your pet gets critted, the one that didn't get get critted gets the buff.

So, basically: I get critically hit -> My pet gets the buff; My pet gets critically hit -> I get the buff. Thank you! __________________ Pizjub for President!

Rodyle Character Info Rodyle 70 Undead Warlock Scarshield Legion Euro RP PvP Talent Spec: 20/41/0	Demonic Empathy Hi there, I myself, have always been a huge demonology fan, and as you might expect, I was thrilled when I saw the Wrath of the Lich King talent trees for the first time. However, after inspecting some talents a bit more closely, some questions came up, which I hope some of you could answer. 1: How long does Demonic Empowerment on the voidwalker, imp and felguard? 2: How much crit does your demon approximately have with demonic tactics and improved demonic tactics? 3: Demonic empathy says: "When you or your pet crits with a spell or ability blablabla next 3 spells or abilities blabla." Do those "Spells or abilities" also include felguard white hits (else, I think this talent would be fairly useless)? And some questions on non-demonology talents: How much mana does your fel hunter regain from his shadow bite ability with 2/2 improved fel hunter? Molten Core speaks about DoT effects. Do those effects include immolate and shadowflame? Is there an internal cooldown on Nether Protection? That should be all for now, thanks in advance.

digimanbyte_ID Character Info Ceannon 80 Blood Elf Warlock Thaurissan Oceania PvP Profile: Blizzard Armory Talent Spec: 0/53/18	Demonic Empathy I think its like 12 seconds for demonic empowerment, as for demonic empathy they changed it back so I heard, so that when someone crits your pet you get 30% increase in attack and casting speed and viceversa. I don't that I wish it would give you the 30% increase when you pet crits making having imp demonic tactic more viable.
