Fel Synergy

Am I the only person who thinks threat should be removed from Fel Synergy healing, or count as originating from the pet instead of you?

It's quite annoying to send your Felguard into a group of mobs, only to have all the adds go straight for you the moment you've done any damage to any single one of them (and thus healed your felguard). Along with the significant buffs to the voidwalker, this makes the felguard feel 'nerfed' for PvE soloing.

As long as he gets a cleave in I haven't been seeing a problem with this myself. Would be handy if it was an aoe taunt though...

Aye, but Cleave only hits two targets, including the one he's already targeting. A third mob is guaranteed to go after you, unless you do some added micromanaging to get the pet to whack everything atleast once. Not the most elegant solution.

Does it show as a buff when a pet is out?

I recently re-speced demonology with it and the felguard, and I don't see it anywhere as being active.

any ideas?

The Stat bonus would not fall under the typical "Buff" category. Same way you don't see buffs on hunter pets saying "15% Increased Stamina".

The healing component works the same way as the T5 bonus.

Guess this is your first time with a Felguard eh? Welcome to the club.

nope, ran the FG for a while during my leveling days, loved him.

I switched to sl/sl after 70 for pvp and dailies and such.

I don't know how the T% bonus works, can you fill me in?

You don't see a buff, but you should see in the combat log when your pet gets healed.

It does not show as a buff, but it sure does work!

When your pet is getting beat on, lay down some big AoE and watch him stay pegged at 100% health.

Re: Fel Synergy

Also, if you're using the default UI and Blizzard combat text, if you turn on the Healing numbers as well, you'll see the green + numbers rolling up on FG as he fights. As normal though, even without the combat text turned on you should notice the green + numbers by his nameplate in the upper left corner of the screen.
