Talent information:
Talent Tree: Demonology, Tier 6
Requires: 25 points already spent in Destruction Talents
Increases the damage done by your Fire spells and reduces the cast time of your Incinerate spell

Ranks:
Rank 1: Increases the damage done by your Fire spells by 2% and reduces the cast time of your Incinerate spell by 0.05 sec.

Rank 2: Increases the damage done by your Fire spells by 4% and reduces the cast time of your Incinerate spell by 0.1 sec.

Rank 3: Increases the damage done by your Fire spells by 6% and reduces the cast time of your Incinerate spell by 0.15 sec.

Rank 4: Increases the damage done by your Fire spells by 8% and reduces the cast time of your Incinerate spell by 0.2 sec.

Rank 5: Increases the damage done by your Fire spells by 10% and reduces the cast time of your Incinerate spell by 0.25 sec.

Anyone notice the 5% increase in emberstorm? I really haven't noticed a difference myself. Wish we could get more of a boost.

Athough, I really have to throw this out there, haveing infernals work indoors now is FREAKING awesome. It saved me 3 times last night in heroic runs. This is probably the best out of all the changes. hehe

Also, I thought they were working on mana consumption issues in this patch. Am i wrong? I went through so much mana last night, and yes some because i used the infernal, but, I was drained out really quick.

As a 0/46/15 demon spec, I really noticed the +5% crit last night in Sunwell. On several boss fights, I was critting around 55% of my shadowbolts. Overall, I had crits on 44% of my SBs, 40% of my immolates, and 41% of my SoC, and my gear is solid, but not spectacular.

Does anyone know if the spell coefficient changes were pushed live yet or were those changes just on beta?

Hmmm... I'm not actually sure if I'm seeing increased numbers from Incinerate...
Sometimes it feels like I am, but I'm not completely sure. If there is, this is the final game-breaking moment between Shadow Bolt and Incinerate.

*Edit*
Is it just me, or does it feel like Shadow Bolt has been silently hit in the groin with the nerf bat. Plain Incinerates seem to be doing the same damage as Shadow Bolts.

If you mean for corruption and immolate, the changes aren't live yet. I was hoping and was the first thing i went to check. Corruption still has a coefficient of 0.56

I logged in with pure excitement thinking I might be able to rock the house a bit. The ONLY increase in damage I saw was in immolate & occasionally Conflag, but it wasn't much more than the day before. I know because I intentionally watched and recorded several fights and went and did them again. Yes, I am aware that the RNG causes changes in the amount, but 5% should be noticably substantial, and i am just not seeing it.

I have noticed a nice difference .Tonight when I run BT ill give you all some more info, but what I have seen so far is as follows:


Spec Shadow Destro
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

I got around 1300 DPS on the IF dummies (peak 1350 )
(Sac'd my Succy)
( I ran ZA and numbers are about right) I can post WWS


Next spec Fire Destro
(Sac my imp )

The World of Warcraft Armory


Now the main thing about this build is Molten Core. Maybe did not understand it before, but It states " Your Shadow spells and damage over time effects have a 15% chance to increase the damage of your fire spells by 10% ) Oddly enough Immolate will not proc this effect. I was only able to get Molten Core to proc with only my shadow dots??

I mean I understand shadow spells (wonder if it means only dots, not SB) will test.

Immolate = DOT why will it not proc Molten Core??


So basically I used 2 the instant dots ( Corruption, Agony) and Immolate.
I kept all 3 dots up and casted Incinerate.

DPS 1600 Peak 1500 -1450 dps

Only Shadow (spells and DOTs) not (Shadow spells) and all DOTs.
Immolate is a fire DOT.
