Nether Protection

Here's a question...have any of you specced for Nether Protection post-patch for dungeon and raiding purposes, and if so, did it help? It now reduces damage from (whatever school you're being hit by) when it procs now, not just fire and shadow. I used to have it when I PVP'd, but took it out after that because I wasn't getting hit with a lot of fire or shadow spells. However, these days in heroics and raids I just realized I'm seeing a lot of periodic AOE (Nexus comes to mind, when the mage boss is slinging you around doing I think arcane damage so often I'm almost positive it would trigger nether protection if I had it. Also blizzard, from her and the dragon in Violot Hold. Loken with his AOE lightening in HoL springs to mind too).

For those who have used it, what do you think?

I think it works pretty good in some BG's but then again it's in the wrong tree from a PvP point of view . I haven't tried it in a raid situation but I'm sure that's coming up in the next few weeks so I'll keep you posted.
