Thanks Xavron, it was driving me crazy! Therefore, its now more or less a raid buff applied to target to increase damage done done to it by 5%, not a self-buff...It was indeed a smidge ambiguous Blub!

It is a raid buff, but I believe it only increase crit chance for the entire raid. This does not scale directly to a 5% damage increase. You shouldn't need it in your "rotation". This spell is much like CoD, refresh it when it is up and do a regular rotation otherwise. With enough haste you should be able to do more than 1 rotation every 30s. |

To clarify, Evictoray is right here. The talent has two effects on your shadowbolt. The first is that it does 5% more damage. This is not related to the second effect, which is apply the 5% crit debuff. They are twin effects of one talent. |
