Re: Unholy Power
This talent is a prerequisite to Master Demonologist, one of the best talents in the tree. 20% more melee damage from pets in the grand scheme of things isn't a whole lot of added damage. It can be useful if you grind with Felguard or Succubus, the two highest melee damaging pets we have.
It's too bad that this talent isn't better, given that most Demonology warlocks are forced to put points in Unholy Power to get MD. |

Re: Unholy Power
Unholy power, as previously mentioned, is a prerequisite for Master Demonologist, the talent that gives demonology it's versatility and power.
The talent itself, 20% to melee/firebolt damage to all pets, is quite good, especially if you plan on using the felguard. That being said, it's not worth the 5 talent points if you do not plan on getting master demonologist. A fully specced felguard warlock will see his felguard do around 20% of his damage, meaning that you only get a 4% increase in total DPS from this talent alone. |

Re: Unholy Power
It also includes the imp's firebolt move in its bonuses now =)
In terms of rating it, I can't think of much to add. Its a must for master demonology, and if your not getting MD, then unholy power just doesn't cut it. |

Re: How Warlocks Rate: Unholy Power
PvE- 10/10 (so long as you take Master Demonologist) 0/10 everywhere else. The fact is this talent isn't all that great. You pick it up so you can get one of the best Demo talents (MD) and that is about it. If you are not getting MD, then these talents are better spent elsewhere.
PvP- Same as above. In conclusion, pick this up if you get MD. Don't bother if you don't plan to take MD. |
