Bane & Incinerate?
Does Bane Effect incinerate or not, because on the the talent it says "Reduces the casting time of your Shadow Bolt and Immolate Spells by 0.1" when it could say "Reduces the casting time of your Shadow Bolt and Immolate Spell by 0.1" So can anyone shine some light on this? |

Incinerate is pretty much flawed for four reasons: - No Bane effect (so SB gets better damage coeffcient) - It requires Immolate for full power (Why-o-why? SB doesn't require this) - No effect similar to Improved Shadowbolt - You don't get Nightfall procs, only backlash If you don't have Bane, it's a little bit better - but you are really playing an odd game then. |

Yes, sure, a combo like Immolate -> 5 * Incinerate -> Conflagarate. I would only recommend this if you go really into Fire and assume you wear the Spellfire set with a build like 0/21/40. Last edited by neej; November 30, 2007 at 07:49 AM.. |

Demon build, I dropped Amplified curse in order to get Bane and Shadowburn. Now I have just 11 points in the destro tree, imrpoved shadowbolt 5/5 Bane 5/5 and Shadowburn 1/1 On raids will I be able to notice any improvement to my DPS? Prior build had just 5/5 in improved shadow bolt. I am really missing my Amplified Curse with CoD 10K crits I am hoping the bane will help me on the DPS charts. I don't have very good gear but land somewhere arond #4 and #5 in DPS amoung far more geared people in other classes. |

Bane talent question
Does Bane also reduce the cat time on haunt? I looked at the tool tip and didn't see that indicated. I realize it's lowered to 8 seconds now for the cool down, but can someone confirm that the last patch that haunt was included in putting points into that talent? |
