Re: Which two glyphs to use as affliction

According to some guy in the comments at wowhead, corr glyph and nightfall do stack.

The fear glyph is a waste of time unless you spend a lot of time fearing. The Glyph of Souls is pretty nice for a raiding situation (free healthstones and all), but I can't think of any other minors I really like.

Re: Which two glyphs to use as affliction

For affliction I took the glyph of corruption and the glyph of shadowbolt. seemed like a no-brainer

Warlock glyphs - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft

Corruption and Shadow Bolt are pretty good for affliction.

The Felhunter glyph might be useful - I have to analyze how much damage my felhunter does now and whether it's worth boosting his critical rating.

Siphon Life and the UA glyphs are also tempting for the 3rd slot.

For minor glyphs, I'm leaning towards the Eye of Kilrogg, Enslave Demon and Souls.

I am going with Corruption and Voidwalker.

For grinding levels until 80, VW with improved talents aggros everything and I dot them with haunt, etc.

I believe the most popular combination right now is Glyph of Corruption and Glyph of Shadowbolt.

Re: Which two glyphs to use as affliction

I'm using corr and sb, and they do stack, last night I had 3 nightfall procs in a row, so the reduced mana is a big help when something like that happens....not that it will happen often.

As for minors nothing really appeals to me yet...

Re: Which two glyphs to use as affliction

After a week of playing.

Corruption - definitely worth having for an affliction lock.

Howl of Terror - good for PvP, or for keeping the elementals busy during Shade of Aran...

Shadow Bolt - only so-so for an affliction warlock now that we don't do as much SB spam. I still picked it as my 2nd glyph.

Siphon Life - I'm really considering taking this one instead of Shadow Bolt. Because I try to use Siphon Life as much as possible, and an extra 20% would be nice.

Unstable Affliction - this is a strong candidate for my 3rd glyph at level 80. I just wish it was a minor glyph.

Re: Which two glyphs to use as affliction

Not many of the good glyphs are being sold on the AH yet in Korialstraz (ally side) so far, but since I was getting crowded out of heroic runs advertising in LFG just as dps (since hunters, rogues, mages etc can now do it equally as well or better) I re-talented for IC Seduce, improved succubus, glyphed for seduce (so it lasts longer) , and now can IC seduce, it lasts longer, and now I can do awesome CC -also picked up the enslave demon one, to make it better for heroic mech runs, which I try to do every single day for a quick (40 min) badge run.

Re: Which two glyphs to use as affliction

I'm specced 51/0/10 and spend most of my time raiding. Right now I'm using Glyph of Corruption and Glyph of Imp.

Mana hasn't been a problem at all for me with the nerfed bosses so no Glyph of Shadow Bolt for me. (And I use mostly Seed of Corruption on trash pulls anyway.)
