Re: Which two glyphs to use as affliction
Until the expansion is out and I'm levelling again, I'm just doing heroics all day long --- and to get into them, I need more cc --- so I use the glyphs for Succubus (seduce), Enslave Demon, Drain Soul (so I have lots of shards to switch out demons every other fight if need be) and all the talents in Demonology I can get, to maximize all my demons/cc abilities. The instant-cast Seduce is AWESOME. I can cc now with humanoids (and elementals/demons with enslave/banish) as good as any other cc class can, and I get called repeatedly now by word-of-mouth advertising (this girl knows how to run a lock in heroics, send invite!). Once I start levelling again 71-80, I'm going to switch out all my glyphs, because I won't touch a heroic instance again until i'm level 80, and i have no need of cc in my soon-to-come Fel Guard/Siphon Life build - I'll be too busy killing everything to worry about cc But I prefer static glyphs / talents. I don't like the uncertainty of Nightfall procs, no matter how it is increased - I like abilities/talents I know I can count on whenever I need/want them, not just when THEY proc. Re: Which two glyphs to use as affliction
I have corruption and shadowbolt as my major glyphs right now. Minor I got kilrogg, drain soul and unending breath. |

Re: Which two glyphs to use as affliction
As I read it, the bonus only applies to you. Also if you plan to be CC in heroic runs, do Glyph of Succubus and Glyph of Voidwalker. Anything you can't seduce your void can off-tank. |

Re: Which two glyphs to use as affliction
The Soul Stone glyph is only for warlocks, similar to the Health Stone glyph. That is, there's nothing more useless than these for a raiding warlock. And yes I actually tested the Glyph of Soul Stone out on live. I'm using Corruption and SB. There's really little choice. |

Re: Which two glyphs to use as affliction
I think someone's noted that if Glyph of Curse of Agony causes an extra tick that increases in damage like the rest of the ticks, it could be a much larger DPS increase than any of the other ones. (Since it would tick about 1k) |

It's nagging. I can't remember where I read a post about this glyph adding 2 medium damage ticks at the beginning of the curse so that you get - 2*8.3%, 4*4.2%, 4*8.3%, 4*12.5% Whichever it turns out to be, it's a nice addition for long fights. For levelling I wouldn't mind the extra medium damage at the beginning since most mobs go down with 3 dots (more often than not Curse of Agony has not gone through all 12 ticks). Re: Which two glyphs to use as affliction Corr and SB From what I've read so far (yes I haven't tried since I don't have the level :P) 5/5 EA lets your Haunt or DL reset Corr 100% of the time, Nightfall and the Corr Glyph stack - so your Corr should be up all time with each "unlimited" number of ticks giving you 8% to cast a free SB. Well, I'm a lowbie so I haven't got the benefit of EA, but I'm noticing my SB proccing more often even if I don't use DL so this glyph combination seems a made pair. I like mana discounts. ![]() If the Glyph of CoEx is minor (I think it is) I'll take the extra 5 yards too.

Re: Which two glyphs to use as affliction
My experiences with Glyphs so far: * Corruption Great! Extra Nightfall chance. But it did give some mana problems since i had so many instant bolts. * Shadow Bolt Because of the above problem, this one is excellent in combination with Corruption. * Soul Shard Used it, cancelled it almost never gave an extra chard. * Unending breath Use this one now as the Soul Shard didn't really work. It actually is pretty usefull so far. A little swim speed is always nice ![]() * Voidwalker Now this is one hell of a Glyph. I personally love it as my Voidwalker is nearly invincible having 20% more stamina. Because i use this one instead of corruption and respeced Affliction without Nightfall Shadowbolt is nearly absolete. So i now use this one in combination with Corruption again. |

Re: Which two glyphs to use as affliction
I don't know if this has been stated yet, but i believe that they should make demon buffing glyphs (such as the felguard) minor. It's completly true that our minor buffs suck. On my shaman i cant get enough minor slots and on my lock i cant get enough major. I think its a balance blizzard will fix in time. |
