Glyphs for affliction
Amazingly there are actually 4 possible glyphs that help affliction dps. Right now I'm using Imp UA, Imp Siphon Life, and the Nightfall one. I'm thinking of swapping in Imp Curse of Agony for the Imp UA, has anyone seen info on which one is the 'worst' glyph for an affliction lock? Thanks |

Re: Glyphs for affliction
it Appears that Glyph of Imp is better than glyph of corruption espicaly if you spec into Demonic Power(which according to my spread sheet is worth doing). |

Re: Glyphs for affliction
Whoa.. maybe I am late in this, but I had no idea that glyph of Curse of Agony didn't increase DPS.. the glyphs purpose is to make rotation easier!? I had no idea! And its also the first time I am realizing that Glyph of Immolate was good for Affliction. I just assumed it was a destro spec's choice. Thanks for sharing that. |

Re: Glyphs for affliction
There seems to be a little conflict on whether Corruption or Agony is better. I have both at teh moment because I can't seem to find an Immolate yet. I'm no theory crafter but I sure am getting the Shadowtrance proc a lot these days. Even if it isn't better, it's easy to see why folks would think it is. |

Re: Glyphs for affliction
So SL, Corruption and Immolate are the way to go for Affliction locks? I currently have been using SL, Corruption and Curse of Agony. As Curse of Agony has that back ended damage I assumed that the four extra seconds would mean even greater damage. |

Re: Glyphs for affliction
I thought Curse of Agony added the middle tick? regardless the benefit of this glyph, as I figure, is that you can fire off 1-2 s/bs in this time. this is a pretty big benefit imo. I currently use corruption & UA, and was planning to add Curse of Agony once I hit 80. But that's cause there is debate about whether or not UA affects the GCD... if not I'd replace it with either SL or immolate. I don't really use immo in rotation but in combination with Curse of Agony could probably squeeze it in.... seems like SL would be the better choice though since the odds are not good at being able to keep immo up 100% of the time |
