Destruction Glyphs for PvP (3.0.8)
Long time reader, first time contributor. Since DK tanking bores me pretty much right now, I was in dire need of something to do 5 out of 7 nights a week. So why not PvP with the current underdog? Said and done, my old main char (gnome lock) was leveled to 80 in a jiffy. <3 SL/Felguard spec. Now at 80 I want to start out as a Destruction lock in PvP. Something along the lines of 0/18/51 +2. I take it Conflagrate, Immolate and Shadowburn are the goto glyphs right now (as of 3.0.8)? If not, please feel free to leave your thoughts or suggestions. (Used the search function, didn't find anything useful or recently updated.) |

atm (this means pre 3.1) i think that glyph of conflagrate - immolate - healthstone are among those which pay off best for pvp'ing as a destro lock. Atm i'm using those myself, and the extra healing received from healthstones saves a lot tbh

Shadow Burn, Succubus, Healthstone. Immolate's going to get dispelled. The point is to proc your stun/daze with conflag then seduce and wind up something horrible in somebody's face and immediately Shadowburn then shadowfury to kill them .Come the patch: Incinerate, Shadowburn, Soul Link |

Thanks for the answers. I guess Tragik's post is more directed towards arena, amirite? I've almost never seen dispels in BGs. I am actually curious about that. Is it because most healers don't care about debuffs/dots? Are they bad players? Do they not have the time for dispels? Hm, i wonder... |
