When are we getting our glyphs?
I've been afflic since 'ought 6, so when patch 3.1 came out, i specc'd right back into it. Unfortunately, seems that two of the glyphs we really need to shine are two that no one knows how to make yet : Life Tap and Haunt. I can't seem to find any information on this on wowhead, but does anyone else know how those are acquired (I'm ench/tailor, so not an inscriptor myself)? Are they trainable, do they drop from mobs, bosses, exchangeable for badges, dailies, quested? Just wondering how long it will take before I start to see these on the AH at any reasonable price... Also, in the meanwhile, since my Glyph of Immolate is worse than useless and my Glyph of Siphon Life is not far behind, in the meanwhile, what would be the best glyphs for an afflic lock to pick up? UA & Corruption? |

depends on your local scribes  I have yet to find out how one learns to make those new glyphs... need to farm the recipes maybe? Not a scribe myself though. |

Expect a lengthy wait for two reasons 1) it will take a few days for a reasonable # of people on any given server to randomly learn that glyph (if I recall correctly you dont get to choose which glyph you learn). 2) the prices for new glyphs will likely be exorbitant for a week or two while those few who can make them get crazy prices from impatient platers... I, for one, will be waiting(unless a guildy lucks out and i can harass them!) good luck out there!

Probably UA, corruption, and Curse of Agony. The siphon life one now just makes corruption heal you for like 50% instead of 40%, the rest don't really help dps. The succubus one seems more PVP. Shadowbolt just reduces mana cost of SB by 10%. |

Something tells me that Life Tap & Haunt glyphs are going to be the one bright spot in our gloomy economy. If these are rare drops, they will be expensive for a while. |

The new glyphs come from world drop books : Book of Glyph Mastery - Item - World of Warcraft I did some farming last night with my scribe and found nothing so I am guessing this is going to be a slow and rare find. |

That leaves us with Curse of Agony as a must have, probably Corruption as second best and then either SB or UA... Hope the new glyphs are out soon. |
