does the vw glyph make that much of a difference?
so last night i made what i thought a great decision which was to remove my voidwalker glyph Glyph of Voidwalker - Item - World of Warcraft and replace it with the lifetap glyph Glyph of Life Tap - Item - World of Warcraft couldnt resist that extra spellpower. after i do this, a guildy needs a run through ramps. i have done ramps solo i dont know how many times. it is not difficult as im sure you all know. anyways i had to heal my vw so many times and i died 3 times before even making it to the first boss. so im wondering did that glyph have that much of an impact. as im writing this it occured to me that i did have points in demonolgy tree 2- Improved Imp - Spell - World of Warcraft 3- Demonic Embrace - Spell - World of Warcraft 3- Fel Vitality - Spell - World of Warcraft 1- Demonic Brutality - Spell - World of Warcraft the rest was affliction and a bit of destruction and of course there have been gear changes since the last time i was there which would have been lvl78-79. current gear is the following: The World of Warcraft Armory the more i think about it, it was those points wasnt it? the glyph just made it worse. like i noticed the vw hp used to be 17k where now it was like 9500. |

Actually it was neither, void walker health got nerfed in 3.1 because apparently with exactly the right spec it could tank a gimick raid boss(sarth as I recall) and everyone knows that the only thing that Blizzard hates more than the voidwalker being useful is pets tanking raid bosses, that's an instant nerf. That said, though I haven't tested it since I've been sort of busy on my alts, he's supposed to have better threat generation now(along with all other pet taunts) so maybe you can burn through those bosses a bit quicker now. |
