A new possible guild - [H] Cho'gall PVP

In order to stop the derailing of the PVP vs. PVE realm thread I have started a new thread here to announce the possibilty of a guild for Warlocks Den members.

It seems that a few regular readers will be creating horde charecters on the PVP realm Cho'gall. The as yet to be named guild will provide, I hope, a fun atmospehere for Den readers to quest together, level and chat on a server that provides a wide variety of pug raiding at end game as well as many horde guilds in Sunwell, BT, etc...

Post here if you are interested in joining us, have guild name ideas or anything else related to this potential new guild. I am not really the GM type so leadership is definately up for discussion. If you do make a charecter on Cho'gall and you're interested in the guild or just saying hello, post something here with your charecter name.

Abandoning your main toons to join us is certainly not required, whether you are looking to start over completely or just a new place to hang out occasionally, look us up. All classes are welcome

More information, guild name in particular, will be posted eventually. At the moment this is just an idea so there is always the chance that nothing will come of it.

I think a good way to get started is with a shared chat channel? This will allow for discussion about forming a guild as well as involving people who may not be in the guild (Cenobite, my mage, etc.) Maybe do a /join warlocksden when you log on...I'm not home so I can't see if that is a valid/available channel...

She is more than welcome to join us though.

I am definately interested in doing this. I am also ready to take some leadership responsibility, as I have wanted to have a guild for a long time. If anyone takes a look at this forum, they will see that I have attempted to start a guild (albeit not a lot of effort was actually put into it....i.e. spamming /guild recruitment for people to sign charter).

In any case, I would love to be a leader, but probably at the very least need to share the responsibilities because of my real life commitments.

I always thought if I made a guild it would be "Gustatus Similis Pullus" which is (sort of) Latin for "Tastes Like Chicken" Kind of a play on all the guilds with fancy Latin names.

However, that is kind of unrelated so I'm not too attached to the idea.

My other two ideas were The Den Dwellers or Denizen. I'll probably think up some more later.

I just used 'Sweater Zeppelins' as my bank guild. :D I think its a great idea though..I will just have to create a toon to join this guild.

OK, the chat channel does work so if you're interested in the guild or just chatting do a /join warlocksden when you log on Cho'gall horde.

I use an add on called Persistence of Chattiness that remembers numbered channels so all you have to do is press enter when using a numbered channel.

Then I request you change the title of the thread. As I have said in the past, there will be no guild in game that will have any association with the site - official or otherwise. By all means create a guild and recruit here, but "A Warlocks Den Guild" is very misleading.

My apologies Akasha, in the 6 or so months I have been on here this has never come up. I would be happy to change the title of the thread, as I have done in the tilte of this post, but it will not allow me to change the original title anymore. Perhaps you or one of the mods have the power to do that?

I hope I didn't offend you, I just wanted to give people a place to try out a pvp server with people they sort of know from this site.

Thread title changed. Sorry if my post came off a bit harsh, it's been a very long past couple of days... the topic hasn't come up in a while, I know there's been about 4 times over the course of the site. They'll be in this section somewhere.

Don't get me wrong, I think creating a guild with people you know is great, I just didn't want anyone to think it has anything to do with the site. Only because if people think it has, official or otherwise, and something goes awry, then it's the site's reputation on the line. I've had that bite me in the tuckuss before with a "Warlocks Den Chat channel"
